A good ol' fashion fave- the Trench

There is no better way to gracefully transition from the scorching summer heat into the cooler autumn climate (or the other way around) than a good, classic Trench. New Moon Mania

OK so I'm sure we're not the first blog to talk about the Twilight Saga but after reading all 4 books (after refusing to become Twilight obsessed) we are officially in New Moon Craze mode! SO why do we love sequins so much? Well apart from them being a massive trend right now, sequins have an instant magic and seem to add instant glamour to any outfit - it's the glamourous cousin to the LBD.



How to Wear:

Sequins are best left to shine for themselves - they're loud and proud and don't like anything else taking their attention! This is why accessories and bags must be kept to a minimum. The best bag to go for is a clutch as handbags seem to spoil the sequined look. Opt for a small, sleek leather clutch and a few bangles to balance out the sequins.

Hair should be left naturally falling either in a loose ponytail or in a dishevelled bedhead style. This is to avoid looking too "polished", make your outfit look like it came together effortlessly.

One Shoulder Dresses Rule the Red Carpet

We watched the 2009 Emmy's in the office this morning and were so happy to see that the one-shoulder dresses are definitely in and are definitely staying! Nearly every popular TV actress was in a one-shoulder baring gown! Debra Messing was in a striking red one-shoulder number whilst Cat Deeley was in a gorgeous demure champagne coloured dress. Hayden Panettiere rocked the stage in a dazzling red one-shoulder piece which made her look more mature than her young years. Kim Kardashian also wore a white long sleeve one-shoulder number which was slightly different to her usual tight and skin baring pieces.

Red also seemed to be the colour of the night with beautiful Blake Lively stealing the limelight in this plunging red gown. We love this new look on Blake and she can certainly pull it off!
